  WHAT HAPPENED?

  The Cityzens had reportedly set their sights on the 21-year-old but according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, he will not be sold at the end of the season. He added that the club's director of sport, Max Eberl, will reject any bids for the attacking midfielder and they want to extend his contract – which expires in 2026.

  Plettenberg added that Musiala is a top target for many sides and he himself wants to know who will be Bayern's new manager, with Thomas Tuchel leaving his role at the end of the season.
